ndrea Lee is one of the rising stars at the LPGA Tour, highlighted by her first victory in the 2022 Portland Classic. Lee has had success at every level including at Standford University earning 9 wins throughout her college career. She also having 17 weeks of being the most successful Women's Amateur across the World. In the wake of winning the Mark H. McCormack Award as the best-ranked Women's Amateur in the world following the completion of the 2019 season, Lee decided to go pro. Andrea Lee was born in Los Angeles on 15 August 1998. James started teaching her daughter to play golf as early as age five. She started competing at age 8 in competitions and was able to win 50 junior championships within the span of four years. The 2014 US Women's Open was her first cut. at the age of 15 and her father playing as her caddie. Lee was unable to make the LPGA Tour cut at the 2015 ANA Inspiration by just one shot. Lee was part of the US's Junior Ryder Cup Junior Solheim Cup Curtis Cup as well as the Women's World Amateur Team Championship. She joined Stanford University and became its most decorated athlete at the moment. Through the next three years, she racked up nine individual titles.
